"We are well aware of the existence of such a problem in many regions. Despite the poor demographic indicators in terms of fertility, the efforts made by the country's leadership and Government since the early 2000s have yielded results. The number of schoolchildren has increased, which has led to a shortage of educational facilities," Peskov said.

According to him, measures are currently being worked out for a systematic solution to the problem throughout the country.

We recall that at the moment, the deficit in Yekaterinburg is about 8000 study places. According to the city administration, by 2025 it will be 49 thousand places, it will only get worse.

So, one of the city's schools has long been nicknamed "Rubber" by journalists. We are talking about General Education Institution No. 181. This year, it has received a record number of children – 10 classes of 40 people. Despite the fact that the school is designed for 830 places, it has 2000 children. Parents of students say that the institution is full already for several years: children do not have time to go to the toilet during a brake because of a long queue, and there is always a cram in the locker room. In the summer, active residents of Akademicheskiy recorded a video message to the "Direct line" with Vladimir Putin, but, unfortunately, it did not get on the air.

In accordance with subparagraph 26 of paragraph 1 of the list of orders of the President of the Russian Federation on realization of the Presidential adress to the Federal Assembly, the Program draft called "Assistance to the Subjects of the Federation in Creation of New Places in Educational institutions" for 2015-2025". The goal of the Program is to create new places in general education organizations and switch them to a single-shift mode

However, the city administration does not hide the fact that Yekaterinburg will not be able to fulfill the order of the President. At the same time, no one is responsible for the failure of the Federal program. By not fulfilling the President's tasks, local officials discredit the Federal government.
