Official Kiev allowed Ukrainian Armed Forces snipers to kill civilians in Donbass. This was reported by the People’s Police of the DPR. It was emphasized that such decisions are aimed at intensifying hostilities, which contradicts the conditions of the ceasefire and international conventions.
It is noted that the Armed Forces command sent sniper groups to the line of separation between Ukraine and LDNR, allowing them to choose their own targets. Their goals can be both military and civilian. If, in sniper’s opinion, a person threatens the security of Ukraine, a sniper is allowed to kill him. According Daniil Bezsonov, the head of the press office of the People’s Militia, such instructions by the leadership of the Armed Forces are aimed at inciting active hostilities.
